Ozone is strong oxidant which might be applied in:

  • water disinfection and water treatment
  • pool water treatment and disinfection
  • aqueous ozone for usge in food industry

- meat,
- fruit and vegetables
(washing and disinfection of food products and technological equipment)

  • wastewater treatment

Ozone is very efficient aid used to remove harmful microorganisms - pathogens and for oxidation of organic compounds due to much faster reaction time (compare to i.e. chlorine based oxidants).

Ozone is natural oxidant which is generated during electrical discharge from oxygen molecules. In opposition to chloride compounds it does not leave residual by-products. After oxidation reaction with unwated bacteria or organic/inorganic chemical compound ozone is reverted back to oxygen molecule. Ozone is natural and safe oxidant.
